4-H Babysitting Course
Would you like to learn babysitting skills? If you are 12-18 years old come and attend our 4-H Babysitters course.
Participants will come to understand the responsibilities of babysitting and learn the skills needed to become good babysitters. The course will help develop confidence in handling situations that may occur when babysitting. Upon completion of this course, youth will receive a Babysitter’s ID card and a certificate of completion.
The course will:
• prepare youth to become capable, caring, and responsible babysitters
• teach babysitting safety and responsibilities along with fun activities
• provide a 4-H Babysitting manual and first aid supplies
The Babysitting Zoom course will run 3 days: Tuesday Feb 22, Wednesday Feb 23, Thursday Feb 24, from 10 AM – 12:30 PM. Youth must attend all 3 days (future make-up times may be available).
Space is limited and you must pre-register by February 18th.
Cost is $35. Cash or check payable to the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation, and given to Mason Library when you pick up your class materials.
Supplies can be picked up from Mason Library, starting Monday, February 15, (Mon-Fri 10am-5pm) and must be picked up no later than Saturday, February 19 (10am-3pm).
