TAB: Teen Advisory Board
The Ramsdell Teen Advisory Board is looking for teens in middle and high school to volunteer their voices and their time. Teens who join will be working collaboratively and contributing in ways that support their interests and work with their schedules.
Participation will earn volunteer hours and experience for resumes and college. Snacks will be provided at monthly meetings. Attending a meeting will earn one hour of volunteer time, and members of TAB will also be able to volunteer at the library outside of monthly meetings.
TAB activities may include:
- recommending books and other materials
- writing book reviews and recommendations
- suggesting, planning, and even implementing library programs
- contributing content for library social media
- teen-led zine
- helping plan and decorate a dedicated teen space
- teen-oriented library site
Current TAB Projects:
- our teen zine, currently accepting submissions
- teen-curated book displays
- decorate Ramsdell for Halloween!
